SHI Pharma, a division of the Swedish Herbal Institute established in 1969 develops and produces highly effective plant-based products with well-documented effects, including Kan Jang, Chisan, Arctic Root and Femineral. All our products are backed by rigorous quality assurance.

Over four decades of R&D
SHI Pharma has established an extensive international network with renowned researchers and institutes worldwide. Our in-house Research and Development (R&D) have resulted in over 80 articles published in peer-reviewed journals.
Own production plant
Our entire production process, from plant raw materials to customer-ready products, is based in Vallberga, Sweden. Our 6 000 square meter facility is certified for both GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and API-standards (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient), granted by the Swedish Medical Products Agency.
