Own production

The company manufactures all its products in Sweden, in a small village, Vallberga, from plant raw materials to finished consumer products. We are confident that customers will receive the highest possible quality when they buy our products. The production process takes place in our 6,000 m2 facility, which is certified for both GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and API standards (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients), granted by the Medical Products Agency. The supplements are manufactured according to HACCP.

Raw materials from all over the world

Vi har sedan många år etablerat goda kontakter med leverantörer från olika delar av världen för att alltid ha tillgång till de bästa råvarorna. Innan råvaran används i produktion görs omfattande analyser för att säkerställa att det är rätt identitet och kvalitet.

Extraction

The company has been extracting since 1983. This is to develop and have control over the entire process. Each extract has its unique extraction method to ensure that over time we get a reproducible extract that always meets our specifications. Our extracts are often used as reference extracts in clinical studies. In 1996, the extraction section of our factory in Vallberg was further expanded with specially designed extractors with very high capacity.

API manufacturing

To have full control over the extraction process and ensure the quality of the extracts, we manufacture our own extracts in accordance with pharmaceutical standard, API and GMP. These extracts are produced both as dry extracts and as liquids. Our dietary supplements are manufactured in accordance with the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) regulations.

Material recycling – ensures stability

We use high-quality brown pharma glass to guarantee the stability of the product. The glass of the bottles does not change physically, chemically or biologically during storage and does not risk contaminate the product. It is a material that can also be recycled and used to produce new bottles.

Production process

In our production process, plant raw materials are handled into high-quality plant-based finished products. We fill the mixture into bottles and make our own capsules that are then blistered (put in tablet packs, so-called blister packs). We do everything ourselves to ensure control and quality at every step.

Quality Control and Quality Assurance

Quality controls take place continuously throughout the production process. To ensure analysis, we have our own laboratory in the factory. Good manufacturing practice (GMP standard) ensures that you as a customer can be confident that SHI Pharma’s products are always of the highest quality, effective and safe.
